There are only few ingredients you need to be able to produce this yummy food. You will need the following:
Chicken breast/leg (all meat, no bones) – this is the best part of the chicken to be used in this recipe because it is so meaty. However, you can also use the meat at the leg part because they are juicy as well.
Mushroom – I am using the canned mushroom because it is what’s available at hand. You may use those that are not canned if that is what’s available to you.
Broccoli – choose broccoli that is still fresh and green.
Evaporated Milk – this is to make this creamy.
Onion and Garlic – this is used when you saute the chicken including the mushroom.
Salt and Pepper – to season for this dish
Grated Cheese – this adds savory and yummy taste to this dish. If you are not a fan of cheese, you can skip it entirely and this dish remains tasty and good.
Cooking oil – used to saute onion and garlic as well as the chicken

How to Make this Creamy Chicken Broccoli with Mushroom
In a frying pan or wok, saute the chicken in cooking oil under low to medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Push the chicken at one side of the pan and saute the garlic and onion in the other side until translucent and aromatic. Add in the salt and pepper and mix everything together.
Add in the mushroom and the evaporated milk together with the water. Simmer for 8-10 minutes or until chicken is done. Add in the broccoli and cheese. Simmer for 1 minute. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate. Serve it topped with some grated cheese.
Cooking Tips in making this Dish
- Use chicken breast or thigh meat. It is easier to get the meat is these chicken parts.
- Easy on the salt if you are adding salted cheese.
- Do not overcook the broccoli or else it will turn soggy. You would want a fresh, crispy broccoli for this dish.
