Air Fryer Salmon Recipe is a delicious and filling air fryer dish that you can try.  It is crispy on the outside yet moist on the inside.

I have been doing a number of air fryer recipes lately because it is faster, healthier than deep fried versions.

Air Fryer Salmon  Ingredients

1 pound Salmon Fish fillets

1 cup Bread Crumbs

1 Egg

1 teaspoon Salt

1 teaspoon Pepper

1 tablespoon Garlic Powder

1 teaspoon Paprika

1/2 cup All Purpose Flour

How to Cook  this Air Fryer Salmon Recipe

This dish is just easy to whip up and can be ready in under 30 minutes.

Pat dry your salmon fish fillet with paper towel and set aside.  If you are using frozen salmon fillet, thaw it first and then pat it dry.

Mix together all purpose flour, salt, paprika, ground black pepper and garlic powder in a bowl.  In another bowl, beat an egg and put breadcrumbs on the third bowl.

Dredge the salmon fillet in the flour mixture, then soak and coat it with the beaten egg and then dredge it to the bread crumbs.  Repeat the process until all fillets are done.

Preheat your air fryer for 5 minutes in 392F or 200C temperature.  Place the coated salmon fillets in the air fryer. Give space with each fillet, without touching each other. Cook it for 10-12 minutes under 392F.

Flip the fish halfway through when you are cooking it in the air fryer so that they will evenly cook.

Do not overcrowd the air fryer.  Work in batches if needed when cooking this salmon fillet.

This is the first time I am cooking fish in the air fryer without any oil.  It turns out great and my loves and I love it.

What Food Goes Well with this Recipe

As Asians, we usually pair it with rice.  You can also pair it with mashed potatoes or potato chips.  However, you can make it keto or low carb by just partnering it with some veggies and totally skip the rice and potatoes.

What Sauce to Use this Dish

You can definitely use a dip of your preference.  For ours, we make use of the leftover Japanese mayonnaise that we used in our kani salad and mixed it with ketchup.  This combo is delicious.

You can also use ranch dressing, mustard and lime combo or whatever is available with you that you like.

Notes

  1. Do not overcrowd your air fryer.  Work in batches if needed.
  2. Keep an eye on your salmon fillet to avoid getting burned.
  3. Flip and shake the air fryer basket so that your fish will cook evenly.
  4. You may add oil by using oil spray to your coated fish.  However, I did not use any oil when I was cooking because I try to minimize oil consumption. It still turned out good.
  5. You may adjust the cooking time depending on the air fryer brand that you are using and the thickness of your fillet.
