Air Fryer Chicken Tenders: Delicious and Easy to Make. Ah, this is my loves’ newest favorite. They love it when I cook something in the air fryer because most of the time, it turns out delicious.

We are on Enhanced Community Quarantine and the whole family are adjusting to this kind of set-up.  As the local government announced the community quarantine, we have been stocking food supply that we estimated could last for a month.

As for meat and poultry products, we bought just enough for a week or two.  I don’t like my meat to be stored in the freezer for so long.  I usually buy meat produce good for 1 week only because I believe that cooking the freshest is the yummiest.

How to Make Air Fryer Chicken Tenders

I have chicken breast in the freezer so I first remove the meat from its bone.  I then sliced the chicken breast meat into chicken strips or chicken tenders or chicken fingers.  Whatever  you call it 🙂 .

Then I pat it dry with kitchen towel so that it will be ready for some spice rub.

My usual go-to spice with meat and chicken are salt and pepper so I sprinkle them over the chicken tenders.  Then I also sprinkled some garlic powder.

I have the Mrs. Dash salt-free table seasoning blend so I rub a generous amount of it all over my chicken tenders.  I then arranged the chicken tenders into the air fryer basket and cook it for 15 minutes with a 200c or 390F.

When I checked it, it is perfectly brown although the other side is not as brown as the top.  When I tasted it, it was already cooked so I did not flipped and cook anymore the other side.

This cooking has been successful and we had a delightful lunch.  My little Pumpkin is raving how good it is.

Can You Make Ahead this Recipe

Yes, absolutely.  You can have this a day or two ahead.  Just put it in the fridge and thaw it or reheat it and voila, food is ready!

Another option is just to put the spice rub on the chicken tenders so that when you want it, you can readily pop them in your air fryer, just leave it for  15 minutes and you have your delicious air fryer chicken tenders.

What dip to go with this Recipe

When we had this, we just used whatever available we have at home.  Mr Hubbs and Candy dipped it in a mixture of Sweet blend ketchup and Hot chilli sauce, a leftover from our Sweet Chilli Chiken Wings.

On the other hand, I found a leftover store-bought jalapeno cheese dip so I used it and worked just as good.  I bet a mayo and ketchup combo will just be as good as well.

Just be creative and experiment and try out whatever dips available to you. And use what you like.
