Maja Blanca is a delicious dessert that you can serve on any occasion. Also known as Filipino Coconut Milk pudding, it consist of coconut milk, corn kernels, sugar and condensed milk and cornstarch which makes it firm and have its gelatin-like texture.

Ingredients
3cupsCoconut milk
2cupsCorn Flour
1cupCorn kernels
1cupEvaporated milk
1/2cupWhite sugar
1cupWater
Instructions
Put the coconut milk in a pan together with the condensed milk, evaporated milk and corn kernels. Bring it to a boil.
Taste the mixture if the sweetness is enough to your liking. Add sugar if needed. You can skip the sugar if sweetness of the mixture is good enough for you
Meanwhile, mix the cornstarch with water until there are no more lumps and the cornstarch is completely dissolved.
Reduce the heat to low and add dissolved cornstarch to the mixture while mixing it well. Keep on mixing with the ladle for about 3 minutes or until cornstarch is well done and have that sticky consistency.
Transfer to a flat rounded or square dish. Top it with your preferred toppings either cheese, coconut milk curd, or toasted desiccated coconut.
Notes
Keep on stirring the mixture with the ladle once you add in the cornstarch mixture
Do not forget to reduce the heat to low when you put in the cornstarch to avoid burning the bottom of your mixture.
