Crispy Pork Belly in Turbo Broiler.  This is my girl’s all time favorite. The crispy pork skin and the juicy meat is just so tempting.

Ingredients

  • 1 kilo Pork Belly
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda optional

Instructions

  • Boil pork belly in water for 20-25 minutes.
  • Scrape white layers in pork skin and remove scum on the meat.
  • Prick the pork skin with fork.
  • Rub salt all over the pork belly until salt liquifies.
  • Spread baking soda evenly and thinly on the pork skin.
  • Place the meat on top of the Turbo rack.
  • Cook for 25-40 minutes or until cooked.
  • Chop and place in a serving plate.
  • Serve with gravy or any dipping sauce of your choice.

Notes

1. Do not put too many baking soda or it might make the pork a bit bitter.
