Easy Chicken Sotanghon Recipe

  • Cooking Pot


  • 250 grams Chicken
  • 2 rolls Sotanghon or Transparent Bean Noodles
  • 1 small Carrots Chopped
  • 5 cloves Garlic Chopped
  • 1 medium size Onions chopped
  • 3 pcs Chilli Peppers
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Ground Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 4 cups Water


  • Heat cooking pan, add in cooking oil and saute garlic and onions.
  • Add in the chicken and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add in salt and pepper.
  • Add water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked.
  • Add in Sotanghon, carrots, chilli peppers and simmer for 3 minutes or until sotanghon is cooked.
  • Adjust taste to your liking and add chopped green onions for garnish.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and serve. It is best complimented with rice.
