Easy Chicken Sotanghon Recipe
Chicken Sotanghon is a hearty, delicious recipe that the family loves to devour every now and then. It is very satisfying and perfect for lunch or dinner.
Servings: 3 people
- 250 grams Chicken
- 2 rolls Sotanghon or Transparent Bean Noodles
- 1 small Carrots Chopped
- 5 cloves Garlic Chopped
- 1 medium size Onions chopped
- 3 pcs Chilli Peppers
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Ground Pepper
- 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
- 4 cups Water
Heat cooking pan, add in cooking oil and saute garlic and onions.
Add in the chicken and saute for 2-3 minutes.
Add in salt and pepper.
Add water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked.
Add in Sotanghon, carrots, chilli peppers and simmer for 3 minutes or until sotanghon is cooked.
Adjust taste to your liking and add chopped green onions for garnish.
Transfer to a serving bowl and serve. It is best complimented with rice.
